Project Arrow is on target for a full reveal at CES in January Those in attendance at the Automotive Parts and Manufacturers Association (APMA) conference on Wednesday October 19, 2022, in Windsor, Ontario, were treated to a sneak peek of Project Arrow, the first all-Canadian electric vehicle. This vehicle prototype has 58 Canadian Industry partners working together to show the electric vehicle might of the nation. Many of those partners call the Ontario automotive corridor home. Carleton University’s School of Industrial Design in Ottawa, Ontario was the winner selected for the car’s initial design, while Ontario Tech University’s Automotive Centre of Excellence is leading the build. The teaser unveiling garnered a great deal of buzz and media coverage: Automotive News Canada highlights a few of the innovations developed by Martinrea, Toronto-based Xaba, and the Woodbridge Group. CBC News gave mention to the Windsor Essex Economic Development Corporation’s virtual reality CAVE iHeartRADIO gave a shout out to Windsor, Ontario-based hardware and software developer, Ettractive. And there were plenty more. A full unveiling of Project Arrow will take place at the annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas on Jan. 5th, 2023.
